【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversround,square,rectangular,andspecialshape,electric-resistance-weldedmechanicaltubing,eitherzinc-coated(galvanized)afterweldingorproducedfromaluminum-coated,zinc-coated(galvanized),zinc-ironalloy-coated(galvannealed),or55%aluminum-zincalloy-coatedsteelsheet.Tubingforuseaselectricalconduit(EMT)orintermediatemetallicconduit(IMC)isnotcoveredbythisspecification.1.2Thisspecificationcoversmechanicaltubingwithoutsidediametersormaximumoutsidedimensionsrangingfromx00BD;to15in.[12.7to380.0mm]andwallthicknessfrom0.028to0.180in.[0.70to4.60mm].1.3Sizesoutsidetherangeslistedabovemaybeorderedprovidedallotherrequirementsofthespecificationaremet.1.4Thisspecificationisexpressedinbothinch-poundunitsandinSIunits;however,unlessthepurchaseorderspecifiestheapplicableMspecificationdesignation(SIunits),theinch-poundunitsshallapply.ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthetext,theSIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.
