【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestwomethodsforthedeterminationofchloridebyflowanalysis.Thetwobasicmethodsarecoveredinseparateclausesasfollows:a)Clause3:Determinationofchloridebyflowanalysisandphotometricdetection.b)Clause4:Determinationofchloridebyflowanalysisandpotentiometricdetection.Bothmethodsareapplicabletotheanalysisofwaterandwastewater(includingleachates)containingchlorideintheconcentrationrangefrom1mg/lto1000mg/l.Onacase-by-casebasistherangeoftheanalysiscanbechanged.Afterdilution,sampleswithachlorideconcentration＞1000mg/lcanalsobeanalysed.Themethodwithpotentiometricdetectionisalsoapplicabletoturbidand/orcolouredsamples.NOTEFromtheecologicalpointofview,thepotentiometricmethodispreferablebecauseitavoidstheuseoftoxicreagents.Whenthephotometricmethodisapplied,volatileandsolidwastescontainingmercuryshouldbediscardedinaccordancewithenvironmentalregulations.
